here are some pics., of the different stages of a gocco print. from the drawing, to the print. to the finished work. the process is similar to a screen print, using a emolsion screen and thermal transfer heat process....the print is then hand-stamped usng the gocco press, so while each one is a print it is also a original. i got into this after not being satisfied with selling giclee prints, which are just a fancy name for a really good ink jet printer. tthe art loses it quality after being replicated by a computer, in my opinion. here the gocco enhanes the process, for the possibilites are limit-less. i have printed these on old vintage book pages from the thirties(which would tear in a printer), and added some watercolor fun. they will be for sale in my etsy shop. each one is one of a kind, and are done in limited runs of twenty..
