Wow. That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I wasn't planning on watching the entire thing but couldn't help myself. I do wonder about the ethics of painting over other peoples graffiti. I wonder what the etiquette is on that.

i know! holy shiz-niz! unreal!
as for as the disrespect, the codes and rules are loose, part of the graffiti culture is acceptance of the fact that the piece may be "cleaned off, tagged over, added to..ect...
very different set of norms than say a art gallery.

often there are "wars" between groups trying to claim a space. i could go on and on about the diff. "rules"

to me, this piece was even better due to the environment that he used. it just wouldn't have had the same effect.
the artists will just go back and put their work back up anyway, that is the culture of graffiti..

I've seen this before but it was fun to be reminded. My daughter is way into graffiti art (ie:Keith Herring) and she loved this video. I'm gonna have to save it this time.

What an amazing way to push graffiti to a new level - I loved watching this! How long do you think it took them to produce this piece? The light didn't seem to change all that much... You have been churning out some lovely platters - I bet you'll do well at the Big Crafty!!
